It was only a matter of time before reusable bags went from boring to fashionable to political. Those crazy gals at Green Eyed Monster have come up with a new eco-bag for Earth Day that is also designed to raise awareness about the looming water crisis in California.
In fact, three LA-based businesses have teamed up to raise awareness about the need for water conservation in California (and the world). Green Eyed Monster has created the limited edition Earth Day 2009 reusable tote that is being sold in LA boutique, Beckley, with 40% of the sales being donated to non-profit, Tree People.
The eco-bag features a simple message - Just Save Water. Not sure how effective it will be, but at least it should get people thinking a bit more about water conservation.
