Old photographs and posters, soft drink pull-tabs, film negative, and even newspaper flyers. Spanish design house Ciclus takes these unwanted materials, some gathered from the streets of Barcelona, and transforms them into stunning high-end costume jewellery.
Their handmade jewellery line, made from 80% recycled materials, includes exquisite necklaces, earrings and rings.
“The collections are inspired by materials that have been thrown away, respecting their forms, colours and textures,” explains Ciclus. “Now more than ever it is crucial that we think environmentally. It’s not simply a passing fashion: it’s a respectful attitude.”
