Sooodo,
I read the same comment you're making on a Chinese newspaper where there's explicitly no freedom of expression. I guess you work for the Chinese govt...
I wish one day online comments will be possible on Chinese websites too! For now, enjoy the freedom of expression the Western Civilization is offering you. I hope you realize what a great privilege is available to you and how weak is Chinese censorship. I love Cinese Civilization and I dream for the day China will rise out of the ashes of Mao legacy!

Though the intention of the Tibetan flag on a shoe in an effort to raise awareness is highly commendable, I can;t say the same for the manner in which your put our "Tibetan Flag" which symbolizes our identity in human history has been barged down to the lowest level of a product... The shoes we wear on our feet- What a disrespect.
Can you help without compromising our traditional beliefs? Is there virtually no other way to "Raise awareness of the Tibetan cause for Freedom and Truth" and END to China's ILLEGAL occupation?
I am a Tibetan who is offended highly by our Bhoe Dharchoe (Tibetan flag) which represents our Tibetan Nation being put on shoes to gain 20% to the Tibetan cause. However, seeing as to the fact that our traditions and mentality are vastly different from the western minds, i guess I will have to accept this form of assistance form the West and fight my demons within me.
For in the end, i must meet the "supporters" in the middle and bargain my traditional values with your support for the Tibetan cause which represents 20% of the profit from this shoe.
After all, the middle way is better then no way at all i assume.
I'm still not sold but the truth is, my values and respect for the Tibetan flag will remain will be and your values of "assisting" the Tibetan cause with your commendable 20% will remain with you.

I was immediately interested in buying a pair of these shoes to show my support for tibet and for buddhism. After reading the previous message suggesting it would be disrespectful to wear the flag on my feet, I have changed my mind as I do not wish to offend.

To HXC and Linda, get your head out of your arse! Flags mean nothing - humans mean everything, when European resistance movements fought to rid us of the Nazis the end justified the means - do you really want to liberate your country or are you too fussy about the way you do it - either resist or spend time worrying about how to resist - the choice is yours....

by these type of act gives me feeling that respect come frm harsh action in this world particularly for those who care of economics rather then values of human respect, love, compassion,

How could a man who sent 80,000 armed followers into Tibet to fight and die in an unpopular guerrilla war in Tibet, where his followers were turned-in en masse by the local Tibetans, be considered a "man of peace". 80,000 - more than 1/4 of the people who showed up in Dharamsala is sent back across the Border to die in the name of "His Holiness" and the cold war. He says one thing then DOES another. He proclaims "the middle way" in public. But as soon as the Chinese sits down to negotiate, he immediately proposes the removal of property and religious right for anyone who is not ethnic Tibetan and/or anyone who does not support his specific sect of Tibetan Buddhism. He lays exclusive political claim on a territory where the population is only at most 10% ethnically Tibetan, an area where over a dozen other ethnic groups called home for centuries! He proposes conditions that are completely unconstitutional in China. AND he seeks to weaken the institution of the Panchen Lama. How could anyone say that he is a man of peace and sincere about his "middle way"?!
