Italian fashion house Ermenegildo Zegna seems to have done the impossible – make solar clothing attractive and stylish. Their new Zegna Sport Ecotech Solar Jacket is made from recycled plastic and features solar panels on the sleeves that power a heating device to keep the jacket warm.
The small battery pack takes roughly five hours of sunlight to recharge an iPod or cellphone (adapters for most major communication device brands are included). The Ecotech Solar Jacket’s solar panels are detachable for when you want to blend into the less green crowd
