Eccentric German designer Karl Lagerfeld put environmentalism on the runway at his recent Chanel 2010/2011 show at the Grand Palais in Paris, France.
With a 265-ton iceberg melting on the stage, models wearing faux fur coats and Yeti boots, with polar bear techno music blasting and celebrities shivering in the front row, the designer used his show to raise awareness about global climate change.
