The online ELLE Magazine Portable Light Project Auction features solar purses designed by Tommy Hilfiger, Diane von Furstenberg, Loomstate, Rogan, Zero + Maria Cornejo, Lutz & Patmos and Loeffler Randall – all created to raise money for de-centralized renewable energy and light projects in developing nations. Each handmade solar bag includes an LED light and USB connection to charge a cell phone with the sun’s energy.
