Recycled bicycle inner tubes and fresh seasonal flowers are the materials used in the ‘Living’ Dress created by fashion designer Mattijs van Bergen and landscape architect Anouk Vogel. Designed for the Amsterdam Centre for Architecture (ARCAM) Fashion & Architecture Exhibit, the sustainable dress changes according to the seasons via live floral arrangements. The recycled bicycle inner tubes form the individual vases that hold the water and flower arrangements.
The Amsterdam Centre for Architecture’s Fashion & Architecture Exhibit continues until September 11, 2010.
