Air Conditioned Clothing

Kuchofuku Clothing.

The simple addition of clothing air ventilation, using built-in fans, are helping Japanese workers stay cool in the hot summer weather and continuing power shortages resulting from the recent devastating earthquake and tsunami.

Created by clothing-maker Kuchofuku, the simple shirts include a built in fan that helps ventilate the garment, keeping the wearer a little cooler and more comfortable in the hotter weather.

The Kuchofuku company (meaning“air conditioned clothing” in Japanese), have hit upon a hot item as the self ventilating clothing is proving to be a much greener alternative than attempting to air condition an entire building while excess energy continues to be in such short supply in Japan.
