Increasingly, parents don’t want their children playing with plastic toys. In fact, too many toys are made with noxious plastics and coated in hazardous chemicals. Unfortunately, once children tire of playing with a plastic toy it then ends up in the landfill, taking thousands of years to decompose and possibly helping contaminate ground water along the way. Soopsori, a Korean eco wooden toy company, makes the type of eco-toys parents have been waiting for.
The sustainable toy company makes cars and train sets, fishing poles, play doctors sets, robots, kitchen sets and too many more to list. They are all human-made from naturally harvested wood, with safe paints and finishes, and a percentage of the toy sale profits are donated to plant trees. All the toys are 100% recyclable as well.
Soopsori explains that each toy is unique and has a different color and texture depending on the species of the tree.
