Children of all ages will love these Paper Punk folding building blocks, designed by ReadyMade Magazine co-founder Grace Hawthorne. Currently, Paper Punk is running a Kickstarter campaign looking for funds to turn the dream of making paper animals and robots into a reality.

“Paper Punk is a system of paper blocks that allow you to create spectacular looking paper toys and art forms with a few simple folds,” explains the Kickstarter website of the project. “Consider Paper Punk as building blocks for your imagination. It’s easy to use (everything you need is included) and very educational (spatial and dimensional thinking, motor skills, math, science, etc.) What I love most about Paper Punk is that it’s BEAUTIFUL and FUN.”

All the blueprints are in place to produce funky, fun and fully recyclable toys, but now its up to the online community to decide if they want to support the transition from amazing idea to actualization. Currently (at the time of publication) there are 126 pledges totalling US$8,296 (€5,848) of the US$15,000 (€10,570) goal.
