Rather than being constantly told not to play with your food, UK-based artist Ruth Vatcher has created the Eat Play Grow Table to actively encourage children to grow, play, and enjoy their food and eating experiences. The handmade Oak Table features a small herb growing area, a water pot, a chopping board and storage space.
"The child is encouraged to grow herbs or vegetables as well as prepare the food. The table is designed to be simple and subtle, integrating healthy living into a child's life from a young age. It is designed to educate children and promote healthy living,” Vatcher explains.
