The latest innovation in eco-furniture from British Cohda Designs is their limited edition RD Legs Chairs hand-woven from 100% recycled domestic plastic waste. Their latest eco-design builds on the early experimental plastic processes developed by Cohda and uses no glues or adhesives. The chair can be recycled again and again.
The RD Legs Chairs, and their many other green furniture designs, have been widely recognised as major iconic green products and the recycled plastic chairs are in permanent collections at the Die Neue Sammlung, Industrial Design Museum, Munchen Germany and the Singapore Science Centre Singapore.
Cohda, set up by Richard Liddle, makes furniture from plastic waste, which accounts for 7% of all waste in the UK. Liddle has developed his own machinery to convert plastic waste into stunning and sculptural pieces of furniture.
