Who doesn’t love the feel of soft grass beneath bare feet? Well, designer Deger Cengiz has taken this concept one step further and created the Chaise Lawn Chair, a grass chair that replicates the pleasure of lying on soft grass. The artist describes the Chaise Lawn as “…an alive lounge chair, mobile planter and a human transporter”.
Constructed from wheel barrel bits, wood and sod grass the Chaise Lawn Chair sells for US$750. However you can try before you buy as the grassy chair is currently on display at the “Best Seats On Broadway Exhibition” in Times Square, New York.
