The Lawnge, a lounge chair from Dutch artist Lisette Spee and architect Tim van den Burg, integrates seamlessly with natural surroundings. Created from steel, foam and artificial grass, the Lawnge is designed for use in public spaces. Prototypes of the Lawnge are currently at the Valkenberg Parc in Breda, Holland.
“The shape follows the human anatomy, making it comfortable to relax in,” explains designer Lisette Spee of their organic chair design.
Lisette Spee and Tim van den Burg are currently working on an eco-rendition of the Lawnge made from recycled wood and living grass.
