Roca’s innovative and rather attractive W + W (washbasin plus watercloset) recently debuted at the London Design Festival. The sleek two-in-one bathroom fixture developed by Roca Innovation Lab and designed by Gabriel & Oscar Buratti, includes both a toilet and water recycling system in the same bathroom fixture.
The Roca W+W reduces water consumption by an estimated 25% compared with standard dual-flush toilets by re-using water from the washbasin to fill the toilet cistern.
The Roca W+W recently won the 2009 Design Plus Award for its innovative and sustainable approach to design.
