A living plant is combined with a fishtank in the One Pot, Two Lives design concept created by designers Sheng-Zhe Feng and Ling-Yuan Chou.The two-part filtration system recycles the fish excrement to feed the plant, while the plant filters the water for the fish.
However, the system does have a few flaws including the size of the tiny bowl for the poor fish. One Pot, Two Lives is designed is to explore natural filtration methods for fish tanks and eliminating the use of chemical substances for cleaning.
