Ruff House Art take unwanted cast iron bathtubs and upcycle them into funky custom made sofas. Each vintage tub sofa weighs a hefty 225 lbs (102kgs), but comes finished with a cheery paint design and comfortable cushions.
“The idea came to me as I was trying to come up with unique pieces of furniture for our "retro" game room,” explains Ruff House Art owner Jill Morrison of her inspiration.
Each Cast Iron Bathtub Couch retails for US$1,700 (€1,310).
