Tired of listening to people shout into their cellphones in inappropriate places? The Social Bomb is a concept design by Hugo Eccles and Afshin Mehin for mobile activists that "...forces everyone to take a break by covertly cutting off all forms of technology. The Bomb works best in places like the cinema, a wedding or other group setting where the social addict refuses to be polite by shutting off their device."
It is a communications-jamming concept with a built in timer that was designed for the Slow Tech Exhibit at the London Design Festival, that ran September 17-25, 2011 in London.
