The Porta Hedge creates an instant wall of privacy wherever you need it most. Designed by American artist Justin Shull, the self-sustaining Porta Hedge’s exterior is made from recycled artificial Christmas trees with solar panels on the roof. Prerecorded birdsong audio helps the Porta Hedge merge into its surroundings.
The interior of the Porta Hedge features everything you need to watch the natural environment or spy on your neighbors with surveillance cameras and monitors, a rooftop observation hatch and peepholes. For the comfort of the observer, amenities include a small bathroom, chalkboards, swings, live plants and an internet connection.
With minimal impact upon the landscape and ease of mobility, the Porta Hedge is an innovative approach to landscape design and privacy.
