See thousands of tropical orchids and bromeliads at the 6,500m2 (1.6 acre) Tropical Extravaganza exhibit at the Royal Botanic Gardens’ Kews Gardens in London, England – home to the world’s oldest and most comprehensive collection of living orchids.

The Tropical Extravaganza exhibit features 21 climate zones spread over the Waterlily House and the Princess of Wales Conservatory.

Visitors can expect to see a kaleidoscope of colours with tunnels and walkways dripping with orchids and bromeliads, leading to the glasshouse’s central pond where an island of orchids and tropical plants celebrate plant biodiversity.
Tropical Extravaganza continues until March 7, 2010.
