Dahlias, broccoli, ferns and radishes are a few of the elements Japanese artist Takaya Hanayuish uses to create these stunning living headpieces.

After first styling the model’s hair, he adds layer upon layer of flowers and vegetables, resulting in each creation becoming unique wearable artwork.

Dubbed Hanayui, the extremely popular and eccentric headgear has been featured in magazine photo shoots and commercials, worn at weddings and live performance events. Takaya has become internationally renowned for his stunning living artwork.
