Greening The Eiffel Tower.

It seemed like an interesting idea - cover La Tour Eiffel with 60,000 plants, though Parisian officials are strongly denying the rumors of any plans to "green the tower".

Rumored to be designed by The Ginger Group, according to an article published in the French newspaper Le Figaro, The Société d’Exploitation de la Tour Eiffel (Sete) has issued a statement that the story is false. Built by Gustave Eiffel for the 1889 World Fair, the green make-over would definitely not go down well with many of the locals who cherish their tower. Turning the tower green would require 12 tons of rubber tubing, adding hundreds of hemp growing bags, and would cost around US$97 million (€72 million) but could potentially save 87.8 tons of CO2 each year.
