Tokyo-based Tetsuo Kondo Architects designed the “Path in the Forest” which climbs and winds its way through a 300-year-old forest in Kadriorg Park, Tallinn, Estonia.

The 139mm (5.5inch) diameter steel pipe and 5mm (0.2inch) thick sheet steel were used to fabricate the walkway as it snakes along a 95m (312ft) trail that rests against the tree trunks.

The design is meant to give people a different perspective of the forest, by taking them up into the tree canopy.
