Bubble machines are so passé. UK-based architect Asif Khan has created a machine that transforms helium gas, water and soapsuds into wonderful floating fluffy cloud cover. A simple fishing net keeps the clouds temporarily anchored near the ceiling of the installation room.

"Cloud is a work of experimental architecture: a floating roof made simply from helium gas, water and soap; an instantly deployable canopy for conversations in the shade,” explains the architect.
