As part of their Billion Tree Campaign and to celebrate World Environmental Day on June 5th, the U.N. Environment Programme (UNEP) is promising to plant a tree for each person that follows them on social networking site Twitter. Between now and June 5th, the UNEP is pledging to plant one tree for each new person that follows them on Twitter. The goal is to engage 100,000 followers on the social networking site and, in turn, plant 100,000 trees towards UNEP's Billion Tree Campaign.
