
Those crazy anti-corporation tricksters – The Yes Men – recently set their sights on their new target, Coca-Cola’s Dasani water brand. The eco-pranksters held a press conference in Boston where, posing as Coca-Cola representatives, they unveiled a new rendition of Dasani water called ‘Deception’.
The Yes Men, in conjunction with the Think Outside The Bottle campaign, were raising awareness about the reality of most bottled water products. The Yes Men and Think Outside The Bottle explain that even though bottled water is often marketed as being a healthier option, it is in fact, less regulated than city water.

"Coke’s been dressing up tap water as Dasani for more than a decade,” said Kristin Urquiza, an organizer with Corporate Accountability International. “People are tired of being tricked into buying something they can get freely from the tap.
