Eating Vegetables Equals Better Looks

Vegetable Love.

Our mothers were right. But when they told us to eat our vegetables because they would make us big and strong, they forgot one important bit of information – eating vegetables will make you look more attractive to others.

Scientists at the University of Nottingham, in a recent study published in the Journal Evolution and Human Behaviour, found that eating vegetables and fruits rich in carotenoids like carrots, blueberries, yellow peppers and tomatoes creates a healthy skin glow that participants in the study found more attractive than the effects of suntanning.

"In humans, the more red and yellow tones found in the skin, the more attractive the people were found to be,” explains study author Dr. Ian Stephen.

During the studies, participants examined various photos of individuals, comparing various skin pigments varying from normal,  suntanned and with the skin pigmentation of individuals who were eating a diet rich in fruits and vegetables.

Consuming a vegetarian diet has long been associated with numerous health benefits including lower risks of heart disease, obesity and diabetes. Now better looks can be added to the long list of benefits linked to eating a vegetable and fruit based diet.

If they dug a little deeper they would find that the flower of the field represented in predominately beef from grass (all flesh is grass and the godliness therefor is as the flower of the field-Isiah) is integral to that healthy glow providing essential omega 3 and other essential fatty acids in the right evolutionary ratio. In addition it is the best natural source of vitamin E, b12,Coq10, Cla , zinc, iron and other essential human nutrients for heart, brain health and the prevention of cancer and dementia. Mother was right, those vegetables with beef or lamb is the best evolutionary diet. Boiled beef and cabbage!!!
