Scratch meals in a box.

Busy people on the go still want to eat well, but may lack the time to shop and prepare the food – enter the UK's Scratch from Jeremy Innes-Hopkins. These boxed meals offer all the raw ingredients you need to prepare a nutritional meal in a short amount of time.

“We make fresh meal kits. A box of all the fresh, uncooked ingredients – chopped, washed and weighed – and instructions to cook your meal from scratch,” explains the designer.

Each meal is designed to cook in about fifteen minutes with one or two pans only.  Currently the company offers Vegetable Red Thai Curry, a Moroccan Chicken Tagine, Crayfish Tomato Feta Pasta and Chicken Chorizo Jambalaya.

The packaging is made from 50% recycled plastic (PET) with 100% recycled cardboard.

Although a better alternative than fast food or frozen meals, taking the time to prepare a slow but healthy food meal of ingredients you prepare yourself still seems like the greener option.
