
Tiny ice cubes of penguins and a polar bear standing on mini glaciers are the latest design innovation from Japanese designer Atsuhiro Hayashi and are being manufactured and distributed via monons.
Frankly, I think watching these creatures melt in my drink would simply be depressing, possibly even driving one to drink to excess to stave off the despair.
The ice cubes are created using silicon cups and a set of two sell for ¥1,575 (US$21 or €15).
