Well, turns out not that much. In fact, after watching What The Bleep Do We Know? the film reinforces how much the world desperately needs a paradigm shift, an awakening of consciousness, and the Age of Aquarius to kick into overdrive. In the meantime, this is a good film to help awaken the infinite possibilities that we all seem to be snoozing through.
Part drama, part documentary, What The Bleep Do We Know? is a crazy hybrid feature length film that takes a deconstructivist approach and uses a quantum physics’ lens to look at our current reality. Numerous scientists, philosophers and theologists, are interviewed and tackle the film’s core thesis of why are we here and what do we know.
The various experts interviewed in the film offer some amazing gems of insight, i.e. we manifest our own reality, what is happening inside us creates what is happening outside us, meditation reduces crime and finally we are all connected to each other and the universe. Yikkes. This is heady stuff and if all of the above isn’t enough to blow your metaphysical socks off, consider what theologist Miceal Ledwith, Ph.D. offers: There is no good or bad or right or wrong, there is simply things that will evolve us and things that will not. It is worth the price of the DVD just for that insight and alleviation of years of Catholic guilt.
What The Bleep Do We Know? is the perfect film for our current time of searching for answers to the problems we face as a global community. A must see film.
