Filmmaker Chris Perry has created a short animation exploring what happens when nature fights back against human exploitation. The poignant ten-minute film, called The Incident at Tower 37, is produced in conjunction with Hampshire College.

The film tells the sad story of a greedy and unthinking water company that is draining a lake until the inhabitants of the pristine eco-system are forced to fight back.
“The film tells the story of one person's transition from ignorance to awareness. Tragically, it happens too late to save them. But it shows we have the capacity to understand our broader impact on the world and, ultimately, do something about it,” explained Perry in a Take Part interview.

The Incident at Tower 37 was released on World Water Day 2011.
