Move over plastic, bioplastic and aluminium cans, there is a new eco-friendly water-carrying vessel on the block. Aptly dubbed ‘Life', the recycled paper water bottle was recently presented at the Comieco Expopack Design Competition 2011.
Created by Italian-born, Japan-based designer Andrea Ponti, the Life water bottle iis free from harmful chemicals. With the straightforward but ingenious design comprised of recycled paper double stitched together to provide rigidity, with a simple carrying cord handle. Life bottles are scheduled for use during Milano Expo 2015.
