Ink cartridges are an enormous environmental problem. Too few people put the effort into refilling them or recycling the cartridges and millions continue to end up in the landfill each year. An American artist grew tired of watching his company throw out ink cartridges and decided to do something about it.
He brought the unwanted cartridges home and created stunning Ink Cartridge Chandeliers. Using Epson 220ml ink cartridges for 7800 & 9800 series printers, the cartridges are opened up, drilled with small holes and wired together to create glowing recycled boxes of light.
Available colors include matte black, cyan, light cyan, magenta, light magenta, yellow, light black, and light, light black.
