As a possible solution to minimizing plastic and e-waste, OrigAudio (The Origami of Audio) has created recycled, self-powered paper origami stereo speakers that fold-up when not in use. Designed by two college students, OrigAudio speakers are available in five funky modern art designs on heavy recycled paper.
The 1 watt sustainable 3” cube speakers are easy to transport and set up, and can be used with any audio device that has a headphone jack.
OrigAudio's Fold n' Play speakers were named one of Time Magazine’s Best Inventions of 2009. The speakers cost US$16 a pair or US$60 for a six-pack.

since these are made of cardboard from the outside. could it be possible if these speakers overheat and ignite a spark. so it would be on fire? >_O
