Twelve common household objects were constructed entirely from recycled broken glass by Brooklyn artist Mark Reigelman II. To create the chairs, tables, rugs and lamps, the artist used a 1,000lbs (454kgs) of broken glass.

The self-described handsome, talented, modest and benevolent genius (and obviously smartass) currently has his Breaking The Bottle installation at New York City’s Heller Gallery until July 30, 2011.
